I thought this was fraud too. I had a recurring payment that started on a certain date and searched my email for the dollar amount. I figured out it is a legit vendor I use a service for. I guessing you must have signed up for something or bought something and they use Fastspring to handle their billing. Check your email for a receipt like I did, it gave me the actual vendor name.

I was on a cruise ship when this purchase was made. I wasn't buying anything anywhere.

I, too, was charged by FastSpring for two renewals to Carb Manager, a subscription app that I cancelled in 2021, and I have the email to prove it. I missed the charge in 2023, so I'm out that $50, but I am in the process of disputing the charge made yesterday. Somehow, FastSpring got my husband's email account (I had blocked Carb Manager from mine) and he ignored their message they sent last week since he didn't recognize the sender. I agree with a previous contributor: PAYPAL SHOULD BLOCK FASTSPRING -- they are SCAMMERS!
