HELP: Scammer claims empty box on a $2000+ item and Paypal ruled in their favor despite evidence

I'm reaching out to the community as I need any help I can get.   This entire process has been ridiculous and "seller protection" is non-existent as Paypal inexplicably sided with a fraudulent buyer despite overwhelming evidence.  Paypal's customer service has gotten me nowhere despite trying for over 2+ months.  I've been an active paypal account holder for 20+ years.

The situation:

Buyer purchased an item that was over $2,000+ USD (goods and services).  Item is packed up and shipped overnight w/ signature confirmation.  The item is delivered and signed for by the buyer.  Shortly after receiving the item, the buyer opens a dispute claiming that I sent him an "empty box".

Provided evidence:

1) FedEx proof of delivery w/ signature confirmation and a package weight of 10+ pounds

2) Screenshots of the fraudulent buyer wearing the item on social media days after receiving it (which they later removed and deleted their account, but not before I was able to capture screenshots)

3) Chat screenshots where I asked the buyer to sell the SAME item back to me, which they were willing to do for the price paid + extra money.  Buyer ADMITTING that they've received the item.  Additionally, chat logs show the buyer also wants to buy MORE items.

Paypal's decision:

Inexplicably, Paypal rules in favor of the fraudulent buyer (!!!).  Myself, FedEx, and even the buyer have all agree the item was delivered.  For some reason, Paypal is the only one that thinks it wasn't.  Absolutely unbelievable.

I open an appeal and re-attach all the evidence but the appeal is closed again in the buyer's favor.  Now when I call Paypal customer service, they either tell me they can't do anything because I've exhausted my appeal attempts or they add notes saying someone will take a look, but nobody does (2+ months of trying).  I've gone through every scenario in my head but can't imagine how any reasonable person could rule this in the buyer's favor.

Anyone have any ideas what's happening here or what else I can do?

I would see if a media outlet will pick up your story. This happens frequently. I use Poshmark and buyers remorse happens, the loophole is to damage items and claim they were received that way. You have an alarming amount of proof or claim legal action.

My son sold a phone to someone in person and the person sent me money on PayPal after going back and forth forever on how they were going to pay, then finally decided on PayPal and they pay me when I'm on my way to deliver the phone then say to give it to their brother on the porch. I give it to him, I leave, and then the next day I see a claim that they never received the item. But why would they give me the money if they didn't? Anyways, I looked it up and it's a common scam but PayPal sided with them and so they got the phone, their money back, and then I got charged by PayPal for the resolution. Besides that, I paid someone 250 on PayPal and the money deducted, making me negative because the phone money was withheld along with other bills that went through at the same time. So a few days later, PayPal Auto deducted the money from my account to take me out of the negative, (I can see it on my banking website) but it's still showing me as negative from the 250 + resolution charge. I try to get in contact with a human to discuss these things but it seems totally impossible. Customer service is absolutely abysmal and I'm feeling about done with PayPal. I've been using PayPal for 16 years, but I'm seriously about done with it.
