My son sold a phone to someone in person and the person sent me money on PayPal after going back and forth forever on how they were going to pay, then finally decided on PayPal and they pay me when I'm on my way to deliver the phone then say to give it to their brother on the porch. I give it to him, I leave, and then the next day I see a claim that they never received the item. But why would they give me the money if they didn't? Anyways, I looked it up and it's a common scam but PayPal sided with them and so they got the phone, their money back, and then I got charged by PayPal for the resolution. Besides that, I paid someone 250 on PayPal and the money deducted, making me negative because the phone money was withheld along with other bills that went through at the same time. So a few days later, PayPal Auto deducted the money from my account to take me out of the negative, (I can see it on my banking website) but it's still showing me as negative from the 250 + resolution charge. I try to get in contact with a human to discuss these things but it seems totally impossible. Customer service is absolutely abysmal and I'm feeling about done with PayPal. I've been using PayPal for 16 years, but I'm seriously about done with it.
