Am I Being Scammed?

I purchased something from somebody online through social media. I paid through Goods and Services so I would have buyer protection, and most scammers won’t accept this form of payment so I wasn’t super worried. Later that day, the seller messaged me to say they accidentally partially refunded me, and that it was meant to be for somebody else. They’re asking me to send the money back. I’m worried that this is a scam that I don’t know about. How should I go about this? Should I wait until the partial refund re-appears in my bank account? Should I return the refunded amount using Goods and Services again? Or am I just being scammed?

Have you had a paypal email to say a refund has been issued to you?

Does the refund show in your paypal account activity and if so has it completed or on pending or on hold?
