The classmates.com website is a scam, especially designed to offer incentives to sign on, but make canceling difficult.
They then sign you up for two years for $96.00 and say their contract disallows refund. I spent an hour looking within the website for a way to cancel. One time in a method they offered there is many communications and near the end a single word "cancel" was shown on my screen which I clicked on. Everything then ended, but later when it was not cancelled, I realized I had canceled my request. The misleading info and scam methods have made me avoid most everything I get on the computer. It may be legal but definitely it is certainly immoral. The contract is probably illegal!
