Is there anyway to block a merchant from charging me in the future?

I used PayPal to pay $0.99 to a merchant for a three-day trial subscription.  I emailed them today, Sept 12, requesting cancellation of the trial.  The Trial ends in two days, on Sept 14.  Their Terms of Subscription require 24 hours notice before the trial end date.  So I am fully in compliance with their Terms of Subscription.  They provided their email address to use for requesting cancellation.  If the trial subscription is not cancelled before the deadline, they will charge me, via PayPal, $49.99 every month!  Their response to my emailed request for subscription cancellation is "Rest assured, our experts will check everything and get back to you as soon as possible."  I want to avoid their obvious delay tactic clearly designed to run me past the deadline and charge me $49.99.  I responded to them with "DO NOT DELAY.  PLEASE IMMEDIATELY END THE TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION. YOU MUST END THE SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE TRIAL ENDS.  DO NOT CHARGE ME ANY MORE MONEY THAN YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN GIVEN!  I will definitely report fraud, intent to defraud, malicious use of terms of subscription, criminal business practice, online scamming, deliberate theft, etc."   My question to the PayPal Community is: Is there anyway to block this merchant from access to my PayPal account.  Is there an option on the PayPal website where I can name this merchant as banned from my account?

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it when you want to.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
