sendee protection for a delivery address with both us and UK parts

Just checking if this is a scam. Buyer has sent payment from a US paypal account. She has then messaged to explain that she has a postage address in the UK but paypal won't allow her to change the address completely. On PayPal her shipping address is a full UK address with a zip code and "UNITED STATES" at the end. She has asked me to omit the last two lines and says she has spoken to PayPal and we are both still covered because I'll be sending to the full address just with the last two lines omitted. Does this seem legit? Thanks in advance

She is correct in that you cannot add an international address as a gift address on a country specific paypal account.

So if she has a U.S paypal account she can't add a UK address to it.

However I do NOT think she is correct in saying you would have seller protection. For seller protection you have to send to the paypal registered address of the buyer, so if you are sending to a UK address but the shipping address states U.S on her paypal account then I can't see how you would be covered.

Personally I would not risk it but its up to you dependent on trust of the buyer / item cost etc OR check with customer services first?
