People (John and Russell) supposedly from Windows Microsoft( [Removed. Phone #s not permitted] , that I had to call when my PC screen broke down completly(screen flashing with this phone number telling me to call it.) Anyway, over a period from June 3,2020 through June 16,2020 (when I filed I.D.Theft.gov and Equifax reports) I worked with them (the scammers) to clear my PC and to help Microsoft improve their security. They were convincing. I did not give them any money.(I put a Hold on my bank account and withdrew most of my money out right away and locked out my charge account).Just in case. But, over the time that I worked with them (We connected using Teamviewer and I got in touch with them by callin[Removed. Phone #s not permitted](california, I think).I last got a threatening call from John on June 23rd fro[Removed. Phone #s not permitted] Anyway, they managed to get most of my personal data from me and in doing so they have set up this phoney Paypal scheme using my account: Transaction:7YD717915D14 Laura [removed] Case ID PP-R-MLR-453215727 for $4,998.00. They are up to something. They are using my identity to do this using my identity and my account to do this. I want a permanent hold put on this transaction until this can be investigated. I have put a complaint to the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

Open a case in the Resolution Center. No one can do it for you in the forums.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I have tried the Resolution Center three times without getting anywhere. I have tried calling PayPal three times. One time after waiting three-quarters of hour ,I actually talked to someone, but did not feel that I was getting anywhere. All I been getting is robot and pre-recorded responses. It seems to me simple enough. I have a Fraud problem that affects me, but also PayPal. I should be able to call them up and talk to a real person and resolve it. I have gotten enough information (PayPal has even $4998 that they fraudulently made up in my account), but I am getting nowhere. It is the same with Microsoft. No way to talk to real people that count. Just preconceived questions and preconceived answers that do not deal with the particular problem. I have already been stung and am dealing with it and covering myself as best I can. I look at it as a lesson that I should learn from. The reason I got on to this scam was because a similar type of scam was tried on my new bank account on June 13th saying someone bought an iPhone on Amazon and charged to my account. This "Amazon Representative" wanted to put the money back into my account but instead took out $498 (Zelle only allowed $500 transfer at a time). +I caught this one right away. I got in touch with the bank, and they put me in touch with their fraud department
(Always talking to a person and no forever long waits with irritating repeated messages blasting in your ear while you wait). I got action right away and got my money back within a week. Well, with PayPal, - I did try.
