Unable to withdraw money after 180 days

Before the pandemic, my account was limited permanently and Paypal told that I can withdraw the balance in my account after 180days. During the Pandemic, the call center was closed, so I was not able to call up and withdraw the money. Since Nov 2021, I have been calling up the call center in Philippines, and the service really [removed]! They were asking for my national ID, and I have sent them the photo. They keep telling me that the name registered in my account is different from the name in my national ID card, I have made it very clear that the registered name in paypal is the short form of my first name , I used EU instead of my full name ENG UNG. Then after more than 10 calls, one of the agents suggested to change the registered name in my account, so I have submitted the name change request in December, but until today, nothing happen......they did not change the name, and keep telling me that the document provided does not meet the requirement to lift the limitation. I have told them that I don't want to lift the limitation and no longer need the account. I just want to withdraw the balance of USD 1400 in my account to the local Bank. What should I do now????

I can definitely understand the frustration you must be feeling with this!
In most instances, we will allow PayPal users with limited accounts to withdraw their funds after 180 days has passed from the time the limitation was placed. I do see from your Community profile that you're located in Malaysia. Some regions require the name on your PayPal account to match the name on your bank account to allow the option to withdraw from your PayPal account. You can also check for other available withdrawal methods in your region, but it looks like you may have the option to withdraw to a card or a US bank account as well if you cannot complete a transfer to your local bank.
Since you mentioned that your account has been limited for longer than 180 days, I would recommend reaching back out to our Customer Support to inquire further about potentially releasing your funds.
