I have had £5 taken from my PayPal account for something called standpoint on behalf of Google, doe’s anybody know what it is just in case they take considerable more

From googling it all I can see is a magazine?

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
