Hi, I noticed two fraudulent purchases on my PayPal account. They were both made with a PayPal debit card and are currently listed as on ‘temporary hold.’ I can’t seem to figure out a way to notify PayPal that these charges are unauthorized and to cancel them. When I go through the resolution center I end up with a message that says ‘you can’t file a case on this type of transaction.’ Do I actually need to wait for them to fully go through before I can open a claim? Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

Hi @Crabdel,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.
I understand that you are concerned about a charge which you do not recognize. It could be a billing agreement if you might have signed up for and you might have forgotten. In this case, you can find under activity page and if you wish to cancel the subscription, you can contact your merchant and request a refund. Please click on the link for more details on billing agreement.
Hope this information helps.
