Wondering if anyone might be able to help.
Long story short - I got scammed. (Yes, I know I'm an idiot and feel really bad.) The money hasn't left my account, but obviously the payment has gone through on the site, and Paypal say they can't help.
I've removed all the funds from my bank account, so that Paypal will default to the backup funding method, which is my credit card - I'll hopefully be able to get a chargeback on that.
However, I also have two legit payments (to ebay and bandcamp, in that order) still to leave my account, which were made prior to me getting scammed. Am I right in assuming that paypal will charge my account in chronological order? So for example, the payment will be taken for ebay first, then bandcamp, then the scam? Ideally I'd only like my card to be declined once, rather than for multiple transactions, so was thinking of putting in just enough money to cover the first two payments, before it has to fall back to the backup method (my credit card) for the scam one?
I hope that makes sense! Thanks in advance for the help, please ask if you need clarification.
