Text messages for 6-digit token, but not caused by me

This morning I got three or four text messages in quick succession on my phone, giving me a six-digit PayPal token for two-factor authentication. But I wasn't using PayPal! So that indicates to me that someone got far enough into my account to trigger these messages.

I immediately changed my password and switched my 2FA to a dedicated 2FA app on my phone. Is there anything else I should do, and how do I alert PayPal to this possible breach of security?
