Purchase protection on facebook pay

Hello! So i am currently trying to purchase a puppy from a breeder on facebook, however she doesnt want to use paypal. She wants me to do facebook pay through the messenger which isnt protected under facebooks purchase protection. So i was wondering if i could use my paypal credit to send the money through facebook pay and be protected under paypals purchase protection?

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

I understand your concern about the buyer protection on PayPal credit. We offer buyer protection that covers most transactions for 180 days on PayPal credit as well. You will have to file a dispute against the transaction the same way as on the PayPal account to request a refund.
