Please help I accidentally closed a dispute on an item I purchased for $2,000 through paypal. I bought it on 10/16/22 but the seller never shipped it and started ignoring me as soon as i paid . I opened a dispute on the 18th. Today i went into the dispute to see whats going on and accidentally closed it and paypal says i cant reopen it so i am out of the $2,000 on an item that was never even shipped to me . Anyone have any ideas for me . Thanks

If you funded the paypal payment via a credit card then you could ask them if they will chargeback for you.

Or if the seller is in the same country as you then do you have a small claims court you could file in?

Hi everyone! Thank you @kernowlass for your help so far on this thread. Your time and effort is always appreciated!

@Wrangler925, welcome back to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry a recent dispute didn't go quite as expected. You can reach out to PayPal Credit Customer Support to see what dispute options may be available. Their contact info can be found at the bottom of that Help Center article.

Good luck with your case!
