Hey everyone!
I bought an item on Etsy that was a scam. I was sold a necklace of 18k gold, which is just cheap china gold color. The "gold" is already discolored and flaking. An absolute rip off the store.
So have switched on Paypal's conflict resolution. They offer me as a solution but only to return the item at MY COST. The return costs would be almost as high as the article itself, which is therefore absolutely no solution for me! I have already written to support, but who knows when and if I get a response there. I thought Paypal exists exactly for such cases - in case of fraud you get the money back and have not to return it which is more expensive than the item itself is worth?!
Thanks for your help!

In the event of a dispute you choose your seller and not Paypal so you need to bear in mind possible return trackable costs before you go ahead and buy from that seller / country.
Paypal state this >>
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal Buyer Protection does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.
You also have the option to do a chargeback via your card issuer instead of a Paypal dispute if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
