PayPal unable to balance from Bankacct?

I received an email on 14 July from PayPal my Bankacct was overdrawn and could not support sending € 5,00. Allegedly my bank also charged PayPal € 4,26 for procesing fees, which was credited against my PayPal acct and which had to be settled manually. I have serious doubts this is correct (online bank acct is well in positive, no transfers listed, settings in PayPal should automatically balance from my bank acct) and am investigating with my bank. Anyone else got a similar weird email lately ?

Do you mean its a virtual / digital bank account? If so then that sort of bank is not supported by paypal.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. No - my Bank is a regular F2F bank and I am a PayPal user since 2001 - never had this issue before as PayPal always charged my bankacct or CC in case on insufficient funds in the PayPal acct. And my Bankacct has sufficient funds, believe me. I'm awaiting feedback from my bank and will revert here with the outcome.
