Hello @jwebermd,
Thanks for joining the PayPal Community!
I understand you've recently been notified about a charge you didn't make, and I'm sorry to hear this has happened. First, I recommend reviewing our Help Center article, How do I spot and report a fake, fraudulent, spoof, or phishing emails? If you determine the email was from PayPal and a payment has occurred, you can report the transaction by following the steps on our Help Center here: How do I report an unauthorized transaction or account activity? If the email was not from us and you clicked on any links within the email, please reset your password and security questions right away. I also suggest enabling 2-Step Verification to add another layer of security to your PayPal account, if you don't have it set up already.
I hope this information helps and that you find that the transaction has not actually occurred, but if it has, that you receive a refund soon!
- Meghan
