So... it started on September 2nd of this year. I have gotten chargebacks totaling 371.76 including the "fees" that the retards at PayPal charged me. The person who had filed the chargebacks has not bought anything from me in almost 2 years.. When they called me near the end of August they asked me to help with some money for their bills I had made it clear to them that I only has 0.24 cent in my PayPal. Claiming that they understood they hung up and we didn't talk for about a week until this started. I had gotten chargebacks from them and even though I showed my history on my PayPal this **bleep** company, PayPal decided to put my account in the negative because they had their account linked to their bank. After calling the former friend whose account filed the chargeback they claimed they filed no chargebacks and we got off the phone. Moments later I get more chargebacks from their account and PayPal just gave them more money that I did not have in my account. Now after calling PayPal and making complaints and sending evidence they still will not help me or even offered to assist me.. I can't deactivate my PayPal cause I owe money that was stolen from me by PayPal and my former friend. My credit score has gone to **bleep** because of this issue and it's all because PayPal wont help me now I can't even get a loan. My former friend has blocked me on everything to where I cannot get in contact with him or his family. I'm behind on bills because I can't work because of my degrading health.. my former friend **bleep** me over by committing fraud and theft and PayPal is just as guilty for being an accomplice to his fraud.. Please to anyone who reads this... Withdraw all your money you can and shut down your PayPal.. don't let them do to you what they did to me... Feel free to comment if you want... PayPal still won't help me and neither will anyone else. Death would be better than living like this...

Very sad, but its your friend that has scammed you, not Paypal.
A chargeback is done directly via the buyers credit card company, they must have funded their paypal payment via a credit card.
It is not a paypal dispute.
The card company makes all the decisions and all Paypal can do is pass on any information to the card issuer on your behalf.
