So... it started on September 2nd of this year. I have gotten chargebacks totaling 371.76 including the "fees" that the retards at PayPal charged me. The person who had filed the chargebacks has not bought anything from me in almost 2 years.. When they called me near the end of August they asked me to help with some money for their bills I had made it clear to them that I only has 0.24 cent in my PayPal. Claiming that they understood they hung up and we didn't talk for about a week until this started. I had gotten chargebacks from them and even though I showed my history on my PayPal this **bleep** company, PayPal decided to put my account in the negative because they had their account linked to their bank. After calling the former friend whose account filed the chargeback they claimed they filed no chargebacks and we got off the phone. Moments later I get more chargebacks from their account and PayPal just gave them more money that I did not have in my account. Now after calling PayPal and making complaints and sending evidence they still will not help me or even offered to assist me.. I can't deactivate my PayPal cause I owe money that was stolen from me by PayPal and my former friend. My credit score has gone to **bleep** because of this issue and it's all because PayPal wont help me now I can't even get a loan. My former friend has blocked me on everything to where I cannot get in contact with him or his family. I'm behind on bills because I can't work because of my degrading health.. my former friend **bleep** me over by committing fraud and theft and PayPal is just as guilty for being an accomplice to his fraud.. Please to anyone who reads this... Withdraw all your money you can and shut down your PayPal.. don't let them do to you what they did to me... Feel free to comment if you want... I would like to know the answer to this... A friend sent me money to send back to make sure his account works. Next thing I know I have chargebacks and my friend says he never made them. He lives 20 miles away from me. I respond to these chargebacks with evidence showing that the money was sent back to him and he sends me a chat of him talking to his bank to cancel any transactions that have been done if any. I turn in the evidence to the resolution center and in less than 15 minutes more money is taken out of my account and a fee is added over something that has been has only been stated as "other" and no other reason and they will not give me a real reason when asked. So if anyone files a chargeback against you, it is pretty much an instant loss no matter what evidence you have? My friend has shown me his bank records with no records showing money from "PaYpAl" in his bank account.. so where is the money going if it's not going to him? something is not right.. all I know is PayPal has put my over $300 in the negative and I will see myself dead before they get any money until I find out what is really going on here.. I need help. I'm getting chargebacks from an account that I have not dealt with in over 6 months and they got the items they purchased back then (tracking shows they got it). Now I'm getting chargebacks as of recent (august 17th and 18th 2021) that currently has me Negative $281.76 because no matter what evidence I have provided to PayPal has given money to the person in question... What do I do? I live on a fixed income and I don't have the money to pay that back and I don't feel I should have to because it's obvious that PayPal has morons working for them. Need advice please. On the 17th and 18th of August 2021 my friend sent me cash as friends and family and had me return it to him in the same order totaling 251.52 to make sure his account was still working.. This past Sunday I received multiple emails from PayPal saying he opened a case for "Items not Received" which he never bought anything from me. I got in contact with him and went off and he claims it was an error with his bank (Amax) and that he is trying to get the issue solved. What should I do? Should I be worried or should I wait and see if anything can be done? I 'm disabled and live on a fixed income so after food and bills I only have about 40-50 to my name to last me the month. I have records of the 17th and 18th that shows him sending the money and me returning it with the last message from me saying "Do not send any more cash! Is it possible to remove PayPal credit from my account since I have not used any of it... I have been trying to use my PP Balance and not PP Credit on sites but every time I try to make a purchase it does not even allow me to use my balance only credit and when I try to add my normal balance as my preferred payment option it is constantly asking me for my debit/credit card and is severely starting to **bleep** me off... Im wondering if  this is true cause people keep posting it on groups I am a member of on Facebook... Apparently the IRS is also taking part in the PayPal charging extra taxes and all that BS when all they are going to is pocket the cash themselves..
