Hi, A person who was trying to buy an item from me, via facebook, ask me do i except paypal, which i said i did, but i said to send money via friends and family, because i want to receive exactly what we agreed on, otherwise i get stung for paypal fees. They told me that the payment is pending until i send them a code, which came to my phone. The only worrying thing is, message on phone says, "Paypal: (code number) is your password reset code. Don't share your code." I don't see any payment pending on my side, so i didn't send them the code. Is this a scam, because usually if a payment was pending, i'd see it, then except payment? Is there any other way we could use paypal, but they pay the fees?

Yes, most probably that guy is trying to scam you, PayPal never ask for codes when trying to send or receive money
