Clearly a Chinese based company that's laughing all the way to the bank, especially with "brother PayPal facilitating" their fairly complex efforts to relieve us of our cash.
"A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED." I'M NOW LIKELY ONE OF THEM. THESE COMPANIES WITH SEVERAL DIFFERENT "SELLER AND BILLER" NAMES ARE HARD TO TRACK, but shame on PayPal!

This is exactly the same message that I had before Christmas. Don’t take any notice of it because they don’t do anything about it! I intend taking mine to the ombudsman and I hope other people do too because that’s the only way we’re going to get something done about the scammers

So just another update with where I am with this. After multiple attempts at trying to reason with PayPal over my dispute I had given up with this, but as I receive emails every day telling me that another unfortunate person has posted to this forum I made the mistake of coming back on here and reading that if I speak to a manager then they may be able to help. If not then I can take them to the financial ombudsman. I called the helpline and spoke a very friendly and helpful gentleman who took the details of my case and put me through to a manager. After being on hold for 20 minutes for the manager I hung up as I was told they would call me on the number on my account. Not too long after I got a phone call from a manager called Bart. He refused to give me his surname and I would be surprised if this is his real name but they say the calls are recorded so I would hope it is. I explained my situation and that this is a well known scam company and that I was hoping to resolve this speaking to him but I am prepared to go to the financial ombudsman because of how unfairly I feel I have been treated by PayPal. Brad then told me that they respect my decision to go to the ombudsman but I will not be getting any refund from PayPal. No discusion, no reviewing anything I had to say, just a flat no. When I asked why, I was told that the decision they have made is correct. When I then asked how it is correct I can't remember everything word for word the conversation took me so much by surprise but I can only say that Brad 100% belongs as a manager for PayPal because he is THE RUDEST customer service represenative I have ever encountered. I was just sat here in shock on the phone to him. And when I said to him about how rude he was you could hear not only how little he cared but how annoyed he was with this being pointed out to him. I'm now conserdering where to go with my complaint about Brad because let's face it, PayPal as a company really don't give a monkeys about us, their customers, so why are they going to care about how their managers talk to us. It will just be me getting more and more annoyed knowing I'm never getting anywhere. But today I will be going to the ombudsman to claim for everything I possibly can out of PayPal. It will mean absolutely nothing to them whatsoever and the nominal figures involved wont even register with them. But I will forever tell my story to everyone I ever speak to that has PayPal so that they can decide whether they want to continue using them. I have already had family members, friends and work colleagues stop their accounts so I will continue to warn as many people as I possibly can so that I can protect them against the company that actually charges them to do so.

Looks like par for the course. I have taken my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. Clearly PayPal don’t care! It’s an easy process, the more that do take action the greater the chance of being heard. For me it’s not about the money, but the principle.
