Is this a scam?

I have received an email from <removed> and <removed> as I am Selling my phone and I had sent a request to their email for the amount and got this as a response saying I need to enter the tracking number of the item and then they will release the instant payment. Is this legit?

Scam. PayPal DO NOT hide payments from you, asking for tracking number first.
