Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've been receiving unrequested security codes recently. I can certainly understand how concerning this must be. It sounds like someone knows your email address is attached to a PayPal account. When security codes are sent, they're normally initiated by the forgot password process after someone inputs an email address. With that in mind, I'd recommend changing the primary email address on your account to something unique which you don't use on other platforms. You may also want to update your password and security questions while you're at it one more time just to be safe.
