I have been charged incorrectly by the buyer for a chargeback.

Hi,

I provided digital marketing services to a client in the U.S 3 months ago.
He initiated the payment and I received it in the next 4 days.
A week back I received notification of a chargeback from the buyer.
The buyer is my friend and he followed all the steps as instructed by Paypal, to rectify the error.
Till today it is showing a negative balance.
The PayPal team is not providing the right assistance.
What's next for the same?

I'm sorry to hear that your account is negative. As you informed that received notification of a chargeback from the buyer please check the resolution Center if there a dispute filed. If yes, please communicate or provide the information if asked about the dispute. Also, you can refer to this link to find more information on the negative balance
