Hi, I have had a payment sitting in my balance for a while. I had sold a nike frame but the buyer refused the delivery after it had been posted. I now have the frame back and I am looking to give the buyer a refund lest my costs. The money has been taken from account by paypal but it is showing as a negative ammount now in my account. Does anyone know the reason why this would be the case?

Hi @ChrisbWilkins,
I understand how concerning it would be to see a negative balance on PayPal. When a buyer files a dispute, we place the funds on hold temporarily until the dispute is resolved. If you don't have enough funds in your account, this could cause a negative balance. If you would like to issue a refund to the customer, you can do so by responding to the case through the Resolution Center.
I hope this helps!
