Hello guys,
I am selling my car to a buyer in Ireland (I am UK based).
I have sent the buyer of my car a money request via paypal.
Is this a safe method of transacting in this case?
Once I have received the funds into my PayPal account, am I safe to let the car go and don't need to worry about him taking the money back in any way?
I have email evidence of me sending him very detailed pictures and descriptions of the car just in case, but my question is strictly in terms of PayPal. Can they just take their money back once the car is in their hands?
Thank you kindly for any help.

Hello @Boyko96,
Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.
Cars aren’t covered under PayPal buyer or Seller protection.
This means that the buyer can’t open a case through PayPal, however, if there is an issue with the payment (failed from bank or unauthorised) then you would not be covered.
