My wedding ring was ordered through PayPal. The delivery provider UPS delivered it and left it outside by my front door as it wasn’t signed for and it went missing. UPS have declared that the seller needs to claim against them but refuses I tried to raise a claim with PayPal but they sided in the sellers favour because apparently it’s still be delivered even though it’s just a photo of it on my doorstep Is there anything else I can do? I’m devastated because it’s a lot of money to be without a ring to show for it!😭
If it was over $750 and there wasn’t signature confirmation, that can be your angle on appealing the case. On the other hand, seller is not responsible for the security of your facilities. If you have homeowner or renter’s insurance, file a claim that way.
