I Placed an Order from a Facebook Ad. - AUG 6 2021
It was Supposed to be a "High Value Electronics Box" for 149.99 USD
<removed>
When the Package arrived it had 4 items - None-Nor All Combined, I would Consider High Value!
Additionally these items were Not New. The Boxes were Not Sealed, Damaged, and Appeared to be Missing at least 1 item.
In FACT -I could have Purchased them from Different Sellers, which were New and/or BETTER, Similar Products - For Less than Half the Cost.
When I Contacted the Seller within 24 Hours of Receiving the Package - They Would Not Offer Return Shipping and a Refund.
The Webpages for the Link to the "High Value Electronics Box" which it States on the INVOICE, were Removed / Changed!
I Opened a Dispute with PayPal on Aug. 23rd- Within 24 Hours after the Seller's Reply for:
"Item Not as Described" "Missing/Damaged".
I Made a Video with a Link for the Dispute - to Show the Problems (which seems to be BLOCKED and/or NOW REMOVED on this Site and PayPal!) and Submitted a Picture *You can find the Video on UTUBE by Searching Luckyicode.
In the PayPal/Dispute Details (last night), it said:
Waiting for the Sellers Reply and/or Reviewing Information from the Seller, and if We Need More Information - We'll Reach Out !
Estimated Time to Close the Dispute by PayPal, was to be in 12 Days, on Sept 11.
However, Today; I see the Dispute has been CLOSED - and There is NO INFORMATION!
Now, I can Only "Report a Problem" for 2 Options:
"I want to report unauthorized activity/ I have a Billing Issue."
I'm Getting Tired of Using this Service and I Use it Less Often.
PayPal, "Really Does Not": "Protect My Purchase"

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.....I would query why the dispute was closed and request its re-opening?
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I want to Thank You, kernowlass !!!
You have Regularly - Replied to my Posts, with Good, Honest, and Helpful Information.
I had tried the Message Center on PayPal, but there was No Attendant Available.
I also Left Feedback for this Issue on the "Case Resolved" Link.
I have Contacted Facebook with a Private Message, as you Suggested - However; It Doesn't Appear to me, that there is a "LIVE PERSON"...
My Message to them to Please Review the Dispute with a Link to this Post-
Their Reply:
"You can search in the PayPal Help Center or tell me which topic can I help you with"
It's Practically a FULL TIME JOB, to try to get Acknowledged; let alone a Fair and OPEN Resolution.
Thank YOU!!!

Today, I Called PayPal.
I was in the Que for about 10-15 minutes...
And when the Pre-Recording Stopped - I had to Say "Hello", Several Times, and I was about to Hang Up, because there was only Silence.. Then Finally I heard Something.
I Again, Said Hello.. and told them I could not hear them...Then they spoke up.. and we were Communicating..
I Explained this Purchase - Which the Rep. had asked me to Provide more Information along with Photos.. Which I was HAPPY TO DO...
Only a Few Hours Later, and I SEE A FULL REFUND!!!! This was so Heart Breaking for me!
Thank You So Very Much...
And for Your Suggestions 🙂

I have a similar problem, but a different vendor on Facebook. The vendor is fraudulently advertising as Wayfair. I fell for it and placed an order. I thought that because PayPal was an option to pay that this is a legitimate vendor. The seller sent 1 email with order confirmation but does not reply. I went to the Wayfair site. They responded promptly confirming that they have no valid pending orders from me. They are going to investigate this seller on their own. Back to PayPal. You got further in your unresolved dispute with Paypay than I did. I submitted my issue as “unauthorized activity case submission”, provided my evidence and have a PP case number. PayPal’ response (3 times!) “We’ve completed our review of your unauthorized activity case and we’ve determined there was no unauthorized use.” I disputed this payment with my bank.

I suggest you Contact PayPal by Phone - if you haven't already...
Using the Online Method is a Bit, Like Using 2 Tin Cans and a Sting...
Additionally, I'm Not Sure I agree with Your Reason Being "Unauthorized Activity" =being you did Authorize the Payment.
Perhaps, it could be "Fraud"?
However; I'm Curious in Your Dispute, if it said PayPal, was "Waiting for Information from the Seller"; and if there was a Tracking #...
I might suggest a Different Dispute Reason.. such as "Not Arrived" or "Faud"- if that's an Option.
But a Phone Call is the BEST WAY to EXPLAIN the SITUATION.
I not able to post their Phone Number - as it's removed when I try[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]
