Transactions on statement not descriptive

Hi there, 

I need to do my taxes for my online store so I downloaded the Paypal transactions CSV. I am very  confused by the transactions. 

Some of them are just named general currency conversion - could be 30 USD incoming but it doesn't say where from.

Another issue is that if I make a payment from my Paypal for something I don't have enough money for, it comes from the linked cards. However, it doesn't say that this is the case sometimes (presuming it is). I have tried tallying it up with my other bank accounts and I cant see where the money is coming from. 

Anyway I can get more detailed transaction description other than general currency conversion and a transaction id?

Also have these weird transactions where I get a payment which is then immediately reversed by the looks of the transaction.

I checked and I don't have any debit amount before it that would cause it to be removed. I do think my account is in Euro and these are AUD transactions if that makes a difference.

I totally understand your confusion on reviewing the statement of your PayPal activity. Yes! When you're sending a payment using PayPal, your PayPal balance will be used first to fund the payment. If there's not enough money in your balance, the remaining amount will be taken the money from your linked bank account/card. Also, there will be a currency conversion when you send a payment in a different currency and when you receive a payment in a different currency and have it automatically converted. You can always review the transaction details in your activity page by selecting the payment in question. 

You can view and download your monthly statements, or create custom statements for any date range within the past 3 years. You can also customize report fields and select the fields you want to include in your report.
