Incorrect IRS Reporting Help

I received a CP2000 from from the IRS and they're indicating that PayPal reported $20k more than my 1099-K from that year, for an account number that is neither mine nor an valid PayPal account number. Fro two weeks I have been trying to resolve with PayPal, submitted required documentation and waited. But there is no resolution, just dead end after dead end and today they give me some info about having multiple accounts and they cannot pull 1099-K from them. I do not have more than the one account.  I am at the end of my patience with what I can do to get an answer here. Does any have any insight? I am running out of time to respond to the IRS and they will not care about my PayPal communication woes. I need someone at PayPal, at the proper level and authority, to help me with this but I can't get there.

Thank you for your response. And this is exactly what I have been trying to do for non-stop over the last two weeks. three e-mails with the requested document submissions with no resolution. Several 'cases' started with no resolution. Several customer service phone calls with no answers or resolution. And finally dozens of messages through the PayPal assistant with a multitude of different PayPal contacts all with no resolution. I have a week to respond to the IRS and the burden of proof is on me and I cannot get that proof from PayPal because no one has the authority or ability it seems to get me the information and documentation that I need. The IRS won't care about my problem and apparently neither does PayPal. It's sickeningly disgusting that I cannot get this problem remedied. 22 years I have been a loyal PayPal user and this is what that gets me. I need a single, human point of contact within this company that can work through all this because I fear what has happened in 2020 can happen again in 2021 and 2022 filings. So, what can I do? File an official complaint? To whom? Will anyone actually care?

Just great. Back, again, to square one with no communication and no resolution. Is there anyone that knows how to get a response?

And, as time marches on still no response to anything, no acknowledgement to the three requested e-mails to the tax document upload address, and nothing resulting from those submitted documents no call back as promised, no phone call and no message session that yielded anything, and not able to reach one human in the company that can tell me anything about IRS 1099 filing and where that information comes from. Not one. Nothing. Does that seem reasonable to anyone? Anyone?
