Hi everyone!
I've read about the new law that makes Paypal send you a 1099k if you have a gross income of $600 or more in goods and services payments.
I take payments from the website Ko-Fi; these payments are gifts and nothing is offered in exchange. I also don't see the "goods and services" label in my transaction history on these transactions, though Paypal does take a fee. I was wondering, do they still count towards that $600 in paypal's eyes? Or are they disregarded?
I was thinking maybe someone who's gotten a 1099k in the past and has also used Ko-Fi knows whether those costs are accounted for.
Thanks!
