I want to close my account but it won't allow me to , I do not have any outstanding payments etc. and I have removed my bank account and cc information
Do you have any disputes/claims ongoing OR any limitations?
Are you sure you don't have pending subscriptions or payments?
If you fund a payment via a bank account then it can take 5-7 days as paypal credit the seller upfront and paypal take the wait for your echeque to clear.
