Refund problem as card has changed

I recently returened an item to ASOS which I paid for through PayPal, I checked my PayPal account and it says the refuend has been processed and put back onto my card however when I checked my bank account there was no sign of the money going back into my account.

After thinking why I realised since placing the order I have lost my debit card which has now been cancelled and sent a new one.

 

I this why my money has not gone onto my account, if so how can I resolve this problem?
If not why do you think this could be?

Any help would be much apperciated!

If that debit card was once linked to your bank account then it should still be ok but you need to let your bank know what has happened and they can advise on that.

 

But once a refund has completed it can take a week to process back to a bank account so i would wait at least that and see if it shows up first.
