Hello,
I ordered an item from a website and payed with my Credit Card (NOT with PayPal). The order was cancelled and the company said that they refunded my money and that they sent a refund to my PayPal account. I've checked my paypal account and there is no info on this refund in my transaction history. The seller gave me a Refund Unique Transaction ID but I'm not sure what to do with it. Please help me with this issue because I don't know what to do and why isn't refund showing up on my account.

If it's not in your PayPal account then you haven't received it. First of all check if you have confirmed your e-mail on your PayPal account (check your profile). Then make sure this is the e-mail address the company sent the payment to (ask them).

i received an email from paypal confirming a frund to my account, unfortunately there is no amount in account and the transaction is not appearing?.

I have the same problem, e-mail saying refund made but nothing in my account. How does one get access to PayPal directly via e-mail?

I have received an email stating a refund has been made but it's not showing up on my paypal account. Could it have been refunded to my bank account? This email was sent Friday 14th January

It usually takes a few business days for payment to show up on your account. I'm sure it will show up after the weekend.
II had a different problem, didn't received the email confirmation and seller told me that the refund was issued. Eventually everything worked out within few days.

Hi guys, the original post in this thread wasn't really a refund, he was waiting for what amounts to a new payment.

Payed by paypal to unrecognised recipient by mistake. The payment was in a paypal limbo account as paypal couldn't recognise the recipient. Requested credit my card but this hasn't happened and it remains in paypal limbo account. What do I have to do to get my money back onto my card?

Hey there malcolm0wysard,
If the payment was sent to an unregistered email address and you have clicked on the cancel option then the payment will return to your card. It can take a few days however for this to happen.
If it doesn't show in a week, do follow the link john has provided above or contact PayPal customer service.
