Refund for item not received.

In brief. I have an INR case open in the resolution centre. It states that PayPal would intervene and on the 20th July but there is no change in the activity section of the claim. How long does it take and why would they state the 20th July and still not do anything.

P.S. The seller has made no contact with me despite messages being sent and as far as the claim looks has not contacted PayPal either.

Hi Pat8485,

 

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.

 

When you open a dispute on PayPal we will notify the seller of the issue and request they contact you directly to amicably resolve the issue. If you do not receive any response from the seller you have 20 days to escalate this dispute to PayPal. Upon escalating the dispute a full claim is opened and PayPal will intervene at this point. We contact the seller on your behalf requesting tracking information for the item you purchased, if the seller does not respond we will close the case in your favour and refund the payment to you.

This has also happened to me, however i have won my dispute on the 17th and was told in 3-5 days i will be given my refund.
8 working days later im still waiting for my own money how long is this going to take, no one is responding to my messages.

I did get a refund but I wasn't sent an email. I only found out by checking my 'activity' setting on my PayPal account under refunds. Try that and if it hasn't appeared rind them.
