Changed Card Details

I recently lost my debit card and I now have a new one. I forgot to change the details on my PayPal and I was informed of a refund I was receiving. The statement said that it would be repaid back to my old card that I lost but I now have a new one where my bank changed my details. Will the refund still go into my account?

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!

 

Due to banking regulations we must refund a payment back to the original funding source. As this card is no longer active any funds you receive to the card will be allocated to your new card number by the bank. This is a slightly longer process and may take up to 30 days for you to receive the funds.
