Paypal release temp. hold but money not in my account

Paypal released funds on 11/3/2011 that had been on temporary hold. The funds haven't appeared for withdrawal on my account, though, as of today 11/8/2011. Is there a problem, or does it take this long?

Welcome to the boards!

When funds are released, they're placed into your available balance. 

However, if you sent a payment before withdrawing the funds, it's likely the payment used the balance and charged the remainder to your selected funding source.

To check, go to your History and select "All Activity (with Balance)."  This should allow you to break it down piece by piece and see if the balance was used to send a payment.
