Not getting some payment notification emails

I get PayPal payments about 5-10 times a week, but there have several payments in the last few weeks for which I did not receive any email notification.  Usually I use that email to let me know that I need to ship orders, so some things were shipped late because I did not realize that they had paid until a couple of days had passed.  If checked my deleted mail, junk mail, spam-filtered mail, etc., and they're not in any of those places either.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Any advice?

Thanks no it is not the isp we checked that last time. I am on satellite internet (Wildblue).

I don't believe it's the ISP either.   I have cable with Comcast and jg offered some real good info.   Buttons and notifications were fine for a long time so I do believe it may be an employee **bleep**ing things up.

Hope they can get him out of there.

And.. I'm on Charter cable (which is what my isp shows), with my web & email server as smihosts.com, so my outgoing is through Charter and my incoming is my server sminosts.com .. so I don't think that makes any difference.

Just so everyone knows, I DID NOT use a four letter word in my post to describe this problem.   But a moderator felt it necessary to put the "bleep" in anyways which made it appear more objectionable than the original wording.

Messing things up would be appropriate.

I keep my posts clean for all users and just want PayPal to work on this issue.

I use Time Warner. Some emails came through this morning from 48 hours ago.  But not all. I don't think Paypal should be taking fees if they aren't fulfilling their service from the other end. It is taking us half the day to manually figure out orders.

update: I talked to Paypal and they said they are aware of the issue....but no estimate time for resolution just that they are working on it.

I registered for this forum just so I could find out if this was happening to only me. I have checked my ISP (Time Warner cable) AND my webhost (Linksky) through which I route my business's email, and neither of them have upped their internal spamware.

I have gotten NO notifications since, well, Sunday, I guess. I am so frustrated, but at least now I know it's not just me, and it's not my ISP or webhost.

Hi everyone,

I apologize for inconvenience you're experiencing. There is a known issue with notification emails. Our engineers have been researching it and working on a resolution. There is no current ETA, but it is a high priority issue.

Thank you for your patience.

Still delayed by 5-8 hours by PAYPAL, not the ISP or EMAIL HOST.  Tracroute and reverse tracking show it is PAYPAL that is causing this issue. I have 3 ISPs and 12 email hosts and regardless of which I use the notifications are delayed.

25% notifications have not been sent at all.

This issue was supposed to be "resolved" in april. Guess not.
