PayPal in 4 - Payments made automatically or manual?

Do I have to manually make payment with PayPal in 4 or will they automatically be taken out? My account is telling me I still owe the first payment on something I purchased this afternoon. Thank you for your time!

I understand your concern regarding the Pay in 4 payments. Once your down payment is processed, the subsequent repayments will be taken automatically from the funding source that you provided at the time of your Pay in 4 application. Here's the link that you be helpful.
