Pay in 4 Not showing up anymore

Hello, I have some question about ay in 4 feature, I was approved for the feature but now on websites where it was shown, I no longer see the options why could this be?

Same here just stopped working out of the blue, advisors could advise on why either so no clearer on why, I guess they are looking to carch you with interest some other way, time to start using a real bank!

I had same issue with Chromium based browsers, Safari worked.

After a month of searching I found an option that had changed with one the recent browser updates. When Microsoft Edge had updated it changed “allow cross-website tracking” to off which for some reason stopped my pay in 4 from showing. Once I turned that back on in settings the option came back instantly.

Hopefully this helps someone else as well as it was very annoying.

Same happened here!
I have always paid off early, I really liked the option with accommodation bookings etc that cost a bit more and it was easy to manage. Now I can’t use it. I did dispute a transaction and after that it seemed to go? But it was approved to me so I don’t know it is frustrating!

I was on a website that absolutely always accepts payments in x4 and as usual I was about to pay after clicking the x4 option, but then realized I missed something, so I cancelled before finalizing to add something. 

I tried to re-order and now the x4 option is just gone. Not just on that website, but everywhere else that I used to be able to use it. 

Does anyone know why this happens and if the option will return? Anyone have experience with this?

Well it seems the option finally returned today. The issue started earlier in July, and ended late July (today). So, you were correct. Thank  you. Will give u solved then.

Hello , I have a problem with pay later option ( 3 instalment payment) in my cart and it directs me on the PayPal buy only full amount be Shawn and no 3 interest free payment. I am with PayPal for long years I don’t know why mine is not active. I appreciate if you help me. Many thanks

I have been in numerous support chats regarding this same exact problem and have been told three different reasons...

1. The seller has not authorised "pay in 4" to be a payment option (even though it clearly was)

2. I do not qualify for "pay in 4" (even though I've used this feature since it's creation)

3. Because I missed one repayment, my credit is no longer good enough for PayPal to offer "pay in 4" (yes, I missed an automatic payment but I settled the payment on the same day, but apparently that's not good enough for PayPal they are one and you're done apparently! With no guarantee that it will ever be offered to you again EVER!)

The error message I got pop up after selecting the pay in 4 option told me that it was "only available to qualifying Australian residents".... even though I had already qualified and I do in fact live in Australia...

Anyway, I've given up trying to get a straight answer from PayPal so I just use Afterpay or Zip Pay if I want to pay in instalments now, because as far as I'm concerned if I've been cut off from PayPal from one late payment then I'd rather do business elsewhere anyway.

The customer service I had was like the last poster. However I never missed a payment always paid before or online. Was told the exact same things and always respond like it's of a queue card PayPal pay in 4 is like Indian giving they have no respect for the customers and are not very helpful at all. I have given up on trying to get pay in 4 back. I can use afterpay or zippy or zip money Anyway pretty sad how PayPal customers are treated and the frustrations just to get information they need
