I'm pleased to announce that PayPal is working with the US Federal Government to participate in the Paycheck Protection Program to provide access to loans for US merchants. This program helps small businesses cover operating expenses and keep employees on the payroll. Here's my story.  MAYBE, by the grace of God... someone can help me.  I appreciate you reading it.

1) I signed up and started the process with my first email address.

Something happened and I wasn't able to log back in... I tried to reset the password, etc. Checked spam, etc... nothing.  ZERO replies... I looked in every mail folder.

2) I signed up and restarted the process with my other email address.

I got all the info uploaded.  Schedule C forms (I have two schedule C forms, more on that later)... the calcPPP file, driver's license, etc.

I get to the "Underwriter" phase, and a dollar amount for half my asked amount shows on the upper left side of screen.  I figure that they didn't see the two Schedule C forms (there are two forms, for the same amount (husband and wife sole prop.)... Ok. No problem...  I can deal with fixing that down the road once I have a human.

3) I log back in, just to see, if by chance the dollar amount got fixed.

4) BAM! 😞 😞 😞 When I log in... all I see is a blank white Summary Screen. 😞  Naturally... there is nobody to help me.

I have called (yesterday) and left a "message" with the "answering service"... (has anyone ever been called back by the answering service?)...

What do you suggest?

Just got a decision letter from loanbuilder:

Thank you for your recent Paycheck Protection Program loan request. We regret to inform you that after careful consideration, we were unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason(s):

Unable to verify identity

It also shows my credit score which is clearly above 830. Not sure how I should prove my identity???

I got denied by loanbuilder and working capital even after paying off my working capital early. Paypal is not doing enough to help people like me who have been there for years but when we need help they do nothing In think we need to dump paypal why should we give them our business when they are doing this

According to SBA, The PPP is not supposed to be credit based -- only the EIDL is credit-based. So, PayPal has implemented its on rules that are not consistent with SBA guidelines. And how is identity supposed to be verified when all they asked for was a copy of DL?

I submitted all required documents and after all the waiting, they just gave me a reason "unable to verify identity".  Ironically, it also listed my credit score (>830). The whole process is just ridiculous. Is this decision made by Paypal (loanbuilder) or the government (SBA)? 

We are happy to supply more information to confirm our identity (which is quite funny as we already submitted all required documents). Or should we just reapply? So frustrated on this.

Is there an issue with the Beneficial owner information section of the PPP summary? I've entered my partner's complete information, submitted it but i keep getting the "Get Started" button instead of a green check. I cannot proceed to the sign loan documents section because of this. 

Can anyone help? The phone number listed in the email is disconnecting me every time I try it.

Where is the link to set up the online portal to upload supporting documents? Got an email saying we were supposed to have received the instruction but no such instructions ever came.

me too @eazal . Received an email saying it would come within a day, yesterday. Received an email today saying I should have received it. Yet, it is nowhere.

@jennaedwards Good to know. I was going through my spam email with a fine tooth comb... Hopefully we'll get it before this next round is depleted... Would be great if someone from PayPal or LoanBuilder would chime in.
