Up to 30 days to refund!

I really can't believe in this day and age in can take 30 yes THIRTY days to issue a refund! Its now been over a month from when the seller issued me the £39+ , I've called Natwest (since PayPal say it depends who you bank with) and they say its rubbish and its just PayPal holding onto the money to gain interest! What's worse since I've no money and this refund hasn't come through, I've done another transaction on my mums account which also needs refunding this time £60! So in all I'm £90 down at the worst possible time of year! In future I think I'll use Amazon at Christmas, at least they refund INSTANTLY!. In all I'm extremely disappointed and disgusted that Paypal should keep OUR money for over 4 weeks!

I'm in the same boat! Absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable! How come it's instantly taken from my account but can take a MONTH to refund! Disgusting treatment! I too will be using Amazon instead of ebay in future!

If you funded the original Paypal payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded/completed it will automatically go back to that bank account or card.
Normally it can take a few days up to a week to go back to a bank account and a bit longer for a card, Paypal say allow 30 days for a card (1 billing cycle) but its rarely that long and i have never waited longer than a few days.
(Can vary according to country though).
