Payment on hold, buyer keeps sending money

So I originally sold an Iphone for 150 then my buyer sent 400 on paypal for international shipping costs. Well I wouldnt have made money if I sold it like that so i cancelled it. Ever since paypal has kept sending me "your account will be credited back" but paypal just sends me error after error. Then the buyer sends more money in order to try and reset it. If I buy into it again the "amount your credited" will be 1200.00 USD. I feel like Im being scammed, I know its paypal thays sending it to me too. But youd think paypal wouldnt make these mistakes, because I honestly feel like Im burning benjamins. Please help, its been 4 days...

Wait. What? The phone sold for a total was $150. But buyer paid an extra $250 for intl shipping? Are you sure all this error business is happening inside your PayPal account and not just through emails? Need more clearer explanation. The buyer got that much money to keep sending to reset? Are you getting “amount you’re credited” message inside your PayPal account?
