On 9/23 I made a purchase and paid through PayPal selecting my Discover card in my PayPal wallet. Instead PayPal used my cash balance to pay and have not been responsive to my questioning and demand for an explanation and resolution. On 9/20 I also made a purchase and they properly used my Discover card for payment. What gives PayPal?

Hello @ZBeeble,
Thanks for reaching out to us via our Community Forums. There could be a few different reasons for why your balance was used over your debit / credit card. If the payment is setup as a billing agreement or pre-approved payment, it will use your balance first before any designated funding source. Also, there's an option during checkout where you can choose the balance to be used first and that may have accidentally been chosen. Either way, I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you for your time,
- Jon K

I selected the credit card I wanted to use. I have several. Paypal still took the cash. this is happened TWICE! i did not make a mistake and selected the wrong option. I want the cash to be put back and the credit card billed for my purchase.
