Mass Payment Reversed? Anyone ever heard of this?

I usually avoid doing business with Asia but I allowed certain large websites to pay me via Mass Payment.  I was under the impression that mass payments were not reversible but seems I was wrong.  I woke up today to about $10,000 in reversals.  There was no dispute, no email sent, nothing in the resolution center.  Just reversed payments.
