Experiencing Technical Difficulties error when updating order status

Hi, I'm new to PayPal and I've decided to use this platform to receive a payment for my recent order. I've managed to deliver the items to my client as expected and they've made their payments to my PayPal account without any issues. Problem 1: The payments made are not showing as my available balance, but an On Hold status is showing for the funds. Problem 2: I researched online to check if there is a way to bypass this and release the funds as I needed it. I read online that to go around this is for me to change the order status, I managed to change the order status to shipped for the initial order by the payment is still showing On Hold.. When I tried the 2 payment, I get an error message: Experiencing Technical Difficulties. I've tried multiple times but no avail. Your help is very much appreciated. Sincerely, Ian

From what you’ve described, it sounds like your funds are being affected by payment holds. We may place a temporary hold on your funds if you are new to selling with PayPal, if a dispute or a buyer complaint has been filed against a recent transaction, or if PayPal has additional questions regarding your transaction history. Please note that funds hold are standard industry practices to ensure a secure environment for buyers and sellers. If there are no issues with the transactions such as disputes, claims or chargebacks, the funds should typically be released within 21 days from the date of payment. In some markets, you can mark your item as "shipped" or "processed" to gain earlier access to your funds:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Go to “My Account” and click Overview near the top of the page.
- Under recent activity, click Transactions details for the transaction ID.
- Click Mark as shipped and submit the tracking details, by updating the “Order status”, “Tracking number” and the “Shipping company” used.
Right now the "Mark as shipped" feature is available in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, UK, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, South Korea, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Taiwan, US, Vietnam, and South Africa.
