I accidentally paid for something via PayPal. I wanted to pay through a gift card but accidentally hit the paypal. I do not have sufficient funds in any of my paypal linked accounts. What happens now? Do I contact the shop I bought my items for and ask them to somehow cancel the paypal transaction?
Whatever payment method PayPal chose to cover your purchase would decline or if PayPal used your bank account, you will need to add funds fast or get charged NSF. You can see how you paid by clicking the payment transaction and look at "Paid by..."
