I've recently sold an expensive item on eBay and the item has been delivered with no sign of funds. As it turns out, the payment was sent to an old Paypal account address which has since been closed, along with the email address attached. I followed the eBay system to disconnect the old account and connect the new one before selling, so the fault lies with their system. However, they have told me there is nothing they can do to access payments through Paypal and I need to speak with them to realocate my funds from the old closed account into the new one. It sounds like a very difficult task, but they are accepting no responsibily in trying to recover my funds. Can anyone offer me a solution as to how I should move forward?
