Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in one of the options listed.
However paypal often makes you use a card if its a higher risk transaction.

This problem has been occurring on my account for 1 month and still waiting for it to be fixed. I have cancelled all my PayPal auto payments until they have fixed the problem
